The Geneva Volunteer Fire Department, in conjunction with the Geneva Town Council, is hosting an open house for the citizens of Wabash Township (Adams and Jay counties), Hartford Township, Jefferson Township, and the Town of Geneva, on Saturday, October 11th, from 9-11AM, at the Geneva Volunteer Fire Department, 200 E. Line St.

Honoring Geneva Military Veterans

Military service is something that should be respected and honored and the Town of Geneva is committed to supporting our veteran community. Geneva Clerk-Treasurer Tina Booth, on behalf of the Town of Geneva, is initiating a project to honor local veterans by displaying military banners in downtown Geneva. Funding is currently being pursued in the form of grants and donations, to purchase 25 banners and brackets, in order for there to be zero cost to the veterans, their families and the Town of Geneva.

Adams County leaders have officially begun a vision planning process, named Advancing Adams County, which will guide growth and development in the county while complementing its unique character.

ADVANCING ADAMS COUNTY VISION PLAN OPEN HOUSE
On May 29, 2025, a public interactive open house will be conducted at the City of Decatur Farmers Market held at the 100 block of Madison Street; Decatur, Indiana 46733. The purpose of the interactive public open house is to seek input of all generations of Adams County on multiple facets of community, including parks and recreation, economic development, tourism, housing, infrastructure, social programming, and schools.
In the coming months, the steering committee and project team members will attend several community events and hold public open houses to gather feedback. People interested in the project can visit www.AdvancingAdamsCounty.com to learn more about the process, see a calendar of events, and contact the project team.

Trash Can Protocol

As the weather gets nicer, more and more Geneva citizens are walking or riding bikes in the community. The Town Hall has been fielding complaints regarding trash cans being left on the sidewalk or laying in the roadway.
Town Hall Hours Beginning April 1, 2025

Starting Tuesday, April 1st, the Geneva Town Hall will be open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday 8AM-4PM. Wednesday hours will continue to be 8AM-12:30PM. Additionally, the Town Hall will be open the third Saturday of each month 10AM-12PM.
Extended Hours

The Geneva Town Hall will be open on Thursday, March 27th, from 8AM to 7PM, and Saturday, March 29th, from 9AM to noon to allow citizens to pay their utility bills. Please contact the Clerk-Treasurer at 260-368-7251 to make an appointment to discuss arrangements on outstanding balances.
